I went to Centralia to do a little shopping and stopped in to Abundance Vintage to snap a few pictures of Wendy's booth. Wendy will be at our show this year with her wonderful vintage things. You will not want to miss her.
Wendy will have her goods for sale in the front window at Abundance Vintage until the end of October, so you better hurry and check it out.
This is my favorite time of the year. I love to place mini pumpkins all over our house....an easy and inexpensive way to add color to any room or outside your home.
This has been such a great year for my gardens. Last year not a single tomato ripened, nor apples grew.
My flower beds were overtaken with lemon balm and buttercups which is fine for a short while. This spring we dug out all the beds, filled them with new garden soil and planted flowers everywhere. Granted we were inspired by wedding plans, but since the wedding my gardens have been a joy to look at. Now fall is coming and I'm sad to see the flowers go, but waiting for those leaves to take their place!
Moms Garden
Calendula wanted to take over this summer. I found an easy recipe for a calendula salve-love it!
My name is Shelly, I am a wife and a mother of two boys, ages 11 and 14. I love all things vintage.. My good friend Sharon and I decided to start something new seven years ago....and that's how the Girlfriends Holiday Market got started......
and I'm Sharon, also married and a mom to four "kids". We have two boys and two girls and a new daughter-in-law who warms my heart when she calls me mom. The kids are 29, 27, 25, 23, and 19!! We also added two lab puppies, 3 months old.
With this crew I've learned the art of multi-tasking, putting on really good birthday parties, and most recently a wedding. Like Shelly, I love old stuff too. The Girlfriends Market is my most favorite event so far!
